Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis and design scalable technical solutions for state agencies.
- Lead the end-to-life cycle of software development projects, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and system architectures.
- Ensure all systems comply with federal and state government regulations, security standards, and best practices.
- Mentor junior analysts and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Perform code reviews, system testing, and performance tuning to guarantee high availability and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, architecture, or software development within the government or public sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, and familiarity with SQL databases.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and ITIL frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, or CISSP are a plus.
