Responsibilities
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex system requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable IT solutions to support citywide operations.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain and optimize existing databases and legacy systems to improve efficiency and data retrieval.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
- Ensure data security and privacy protocols are strictly followed at all times.
- Prepare technical documentation, including user manuals and system architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, preferably within the public sector or government contracting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and at least one major database management system (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Strong knowledge of government compliance standards such as FISMA and NIST.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances.
