Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications for system development and enhancement.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex IT systems, ensuring scalability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related IT role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, or .NET environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and database management systems.
- ITIL certification is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment.
