Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems and applications in alignment with state standards.
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and API specifications.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure system security and data integrity compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or .NET.
- Extensive experience with database management systems (SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
