Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system designs.
- Lead the analysis, design, and development of software solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project success.
- Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and security.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the agency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, and database management systems (SQL).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required by state regulations.
