Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT solutions to support state agency objectives.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system architectures.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system outages and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and state agency stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and security compliance across all state systems.
- Mentor junior staff members and conduct technical training sessions.
- Conduct regular system audits and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Systems Analysis, Software Development, or IT Project Management.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or C#.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Clearance to work with sensitive government data and adherence to strict confidentiality standards.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to state facilities if required.
