Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network architectures for federal clients.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, security standards (NIST, FedRAMP), and agency-specific policies.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for mission-critical systems and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Conduct system performance monitoring and capacity planning to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline operations.
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical architecture for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering within a government or defense contracting environment.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols and incident response procedures.
