Responsibilities
- Oversee complex highway and transit infrastructure projects in Houston metropolitan area
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and contractor compliance with TxDOT standards
- Conduct traffic impact studies and recommend engineering solutions
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies for regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality assurance in deliverables
- Lead public consultations and stakeholder engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- Minimum 5 years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and traffic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT design standards and FTA/FHWA regulations
- Strong project management skills with $10M+ project portfolio
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
