Responsibilities
- Design and oversee major highway/bridge construction projects in Dallas metroplex
- Lead interdisciplinary teams of engineers and contractors
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations (TxDOT, FHWA)
- Conduct traffic impact studies and traffic signal optimization
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and permit applications
- Coordinate with city/county officials and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of transportation engineering experience
- PE license (Texas) required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and traffic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT design standards
- Strong project management skills with complex delivery history
- Ability to manage multiple urgent deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
