Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Conduct traffic analysis and transportation planning studies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and safety standards
- Manage project budgets and coordinate with contractors
- Prepare technical reports and environmental impact assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and review design documentation
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic modeling software
- Demonstrated knowledge of MUTCD and AASHTO standards
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Experience with public procurement processes
- Ability to obtain a Class R driver's license
