Responsibilities
- Design and implement transportation infrastructure projects in LA County
- Analyze traffic patterns and environmental impact studies
- Coordinate with city planners and community stakeholders
- Develop long-range transportation plans aligned with state policies
- Manage project budgets and timelines using Caltrans systems
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for public hearings
- Ensure compliance with federal and state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in transportation planning
- Professional Engineer (PE) or AICP certification preferred
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and traffic modeling tools
- Demonstrated experience with NEPA and CEQA documentation
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
