Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive transportation planning strategies for urban corridors
- Analyze traffic data and environmental impact assessments using GIS software
- Coordinate with local agencies on multimodal transportation initiatives
- Prepare grant applications and secure federal/state funding sources
- Lead public outreach sessions and stakeholder engagement workshops
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies
- Compile technical reports and present findings to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of transportation planning experience with government entities
- Professional certification (AICP or P.E.) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS, TransCAD, and traffic simulation software
- Demonstrated success in managing multimodal infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations (TxDOT, FHWA)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Texas driver's license required
