Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable web applications using modern technologies such as React, Python, and AWS.
- Lead code reviews, architecture planning, and technical decision-making for large-scale government projects.
- Ensure all software solutions meet strict security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical training sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and government stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and back-end languages (Python, Java, or C#).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of web security principles and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation/security clearance.
