Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and landscaping duties including mowing, weeding, and trimming.
- Inspect and report park facilities, equipment, and grounds for damage or hazards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and community programs.
- Operate and maintain power tools, mowers, and landscaping equipment safely.
- Ensure cleanliness of public restrooms, picnic areas, and park facilities.
- Enforce park rules and provide customer service to visitors and park patrons.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
