- Coordinate interdepartmental communications for executive leadership
- Prepare official correspondence and public records in compliance with Texas Administrative Code
- Utilize state-specific software (TxSMART, HRIS) for data management
- Support public inquiries regarding state programs and services
- Maintain confidential records in accordance with Texas Public Information Act
- Collaborate with budget teams for expense tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and state reporting systems
- Valid Texas driver's license (if required for travel)
- Ability to pass state background check and fingerprinting
- Spanish bilingual certification (desirable for San Antonio role)
- Knowledge of Texas government procurement processes
