Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications and database systems for state agencies.
- Analyze user requirements to define system functionality and implement technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT projects.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure all software meets state security and compliance standards.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and system architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in software development or system administration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain a State of Ohio background check and security clearance.
