Responsibilities
- Monitor server health and network connectivity to ensure 24/7 operational stability during weekend shifts.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to state employees and constituents via ticketing systems and phone.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in compliance with state IT policies.
- Collaborate with the on-call team to resolve escalated technical incidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check and drug screening as mandated by the State of Colorado.
