Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices across multiple state agencies.
- Monitor system performance and apply necessary patches and updates to ensure security and stability.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures in the helpdesk system.
- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure seamless connectivity and data integrity.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new software applications and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical assistance.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening as required by the state.
