Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming state records requests during weekend operations hours.
- Perform high-volume data entry and filing of administrative documents with extreme accuracy.
- Ensure the proper classification, retention, and disposal of state records in compliance with Florida statutes.
- Assist in the organization and digitization of physical archives to improve accessibility.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government data and personnel files.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and the public regarding record requests.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Records Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, records management, or a similar office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic database software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain data integrity under time pressure.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required by the shift schedule.
- Knowledge of government regulations and privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA, or state equivalent) is a plus.
