Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical system specifications and architecture designs.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to ensure project alignment.
- Identify system inefficiencies and recommend strategic improvements to enhance performance and user experience.
- Ensure all technical solutions comply with state regulations, security protocols, and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough system testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure robust, scalable software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within a government or large enterprise environment is preferred.
