FedTech Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist (Network Services) to join our team supporting a critical federal contract. Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure, maintain, and secure network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, NIST guidelines, and data protection standards.
- Provide advanced technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software issues.
- Participate in system upgrades and implement best practices for network security.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (TS) with eligibility to obtain SCI access is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT network administration, engineering, or related federal support roles.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), and network topology.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and documentation standards.
