Responsibilities
- Design and review transportation engineering plans and specifications
- Analyze traffic studies and recommend infrastructure improvements
- Prepare engineering reports and documentation for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on project development
- Inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to design standards
- Utilize AutoCAD, GIS, and traffic modeling software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Valid Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum 3 years transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic analysis software
- Strong knowledge of MUTCD and TxDOT design standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
