Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical specifications, construction documents, and quality assurance plans

  • Mentor junior engineers and review technical submissions for accuracy and regulatory adherence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive transportation engineering experience with public sector projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida
  • Proficiency in transportation modeling software (TransCAD, VISUM) and GIS applications (ArcGIS)
  • Strong knowledge of FDOT Standard Specifications and Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure projects from conception to completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and public presentations
  • Valid Florida driver's license with acceptable driving record
