Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and survey data for highway and bridge projects
- Perform field inspections and quality assurance checks on construction sites
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for project compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and local agencies
- Utilize CAD software and GIS systems for drafting and mapping support
- Manage project documentation and maintain regulatory compliance records
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years of transportation engineering or construction inspection experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS software
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- ASCE Engineering Technician Certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of MUTCD and ADOT design standards
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
