Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections and surveys for highway construction projects
- Analyze traffic data and prepare engineering reports
- Assist in design reviews and compliance with TxDOT standards
- Manage project documentation and maintain digital records
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and local government agencies
- Support environmental compliance and permit applications
- Utilize CAD software and GIS mapping tools
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- 2+ years of transportation engineering or construction experience
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software
- TxDOT Technician Certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
