Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys and inspections for highway construction projects
- Analyze traffic data using engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Prepare technical reports and construction documentation
- Coordinate with contractors and local government agencies
- Assist in design reviews and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Support transportation planning initiatives for urban corridors
- Manage project documentation using GIS mapping systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- 2+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in CAD/GIS software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS)
- Tennessee Driver's License with clean record
- Familiarity with MUTCD and TDOT standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
