Responsibilities
- Perform highway maintenance and repairs during night hours to minimize traffic disruption
- Operate heavy machinery including sweepers, patch trucks, and traffic control equipment
- Respond to emergency incidents and weather-related road hazards during overnight shifts
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with Caltrans protocols

Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of infrastructure maintenance or construction experience
- Ability to work independently in variable weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety protocols
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods
