Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive transportation plans for Arlington metropolitan area
- Analyze traffic data and conduct impact studies for new infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with local government agencies on transportation policy initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for public hearings and stakeholder meetings
- Manage project timelines and budgets for transportation improvement programs
- Utilize GIS software for spatial analysis and corridor planning
- Ensure compliance with federal and state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in transportation planning or public works
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS preferred) and traffic modeling tools
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with public sector procurement processes
- Familiarity with TxDOT design standards and procedures
