Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multimodal transportation plans for LA County
- Analyze traffic data and environmental impacts using GIS software
- Coordinate with local agencies on federally funded projects
- Prepare NEPA documents and compliance reports
- Manage public outreach initiatives for community engagement
- Lead technical studies for transit and active transportation projects
- Monitor budget compliance and project timelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of transportation planning experience
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, TransCAD, or similar modeling software
- Familiarity with California environmental regulations (CEQA/NEPA)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Federal Transit Administration (FTA) project experience preferred
