Responsibilities
- Lead transportation planning studies and corridor analyses for major infrastructure projects
- Develop comprehensive impact assessments for highway expansions and transit initiatives
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure regulatory compliance
- Design multimodal transportation solutions integrating bicycles, pedestrians, and public transit
- Prepare technical reports, environmental documents, and public presentations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Utilize GIS software for spatial analysis and network modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related field
- 5+ years of transportation planning experience with public sector or consulting
- Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS and transportation modeling software (TransCAD, Cube)
- Experience with NEPA documentation and environmental impact assessments
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and statistical analysis
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Professional AICP certification preferred
