Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive transportation plans for urban corridors and multimodal networks
- Analyze traffic data and demographic trends to inform policy recommendations
- Prepare NEPA documents and environmental compliance reports for major projects
- Lead public outreach initiatives and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Coordinate with local agencies on transit-oriented development projects
- Utilize GIS and modeling software to forecast transportation impacts
- Manage project budgets and timelines from conception to completion
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in transportation planning or public infrastructure
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, TransCAD, and transportation modeling software
- Strong understanding of California transportation policies (SB 375, Climate Action Plans)
- Certified Professional Transportation Planner (PTP) designation
- Experience leading NEPA documentation processes
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Valid California driver's license
