Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive transportation plans for urban mobility initiatives
- Analyze traffic patterns and infrastructure needs using GIS and statistical modeling tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sustainability and accessibility projects
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for public officials and community stakeholders
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal transportation regulations
- Conduct public outreach and community engagement sessions
- Maintain accurate project documentation and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in transportation planning or public sector roles
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and traffic modeling tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Experience with public sector procurement processes
- Knowledge of federal transportation funding programs (FHWA, FTA)
