Responsibilities
- Analyze traffic data and demographic trends to inform long-range transportation planning
- Develop and implement transportation improvement programs for urban corridors
- Coordinate with local governments and community stakeholders on project alignment
- Prepare environmental documentation and compliance reports for federal/state regulations
- Manage GIS mapping systems for infrastructure asset inventory
- Present findings to public officials and community boards
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to transportation standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of transportation planning experience
- Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and traffic modeling tools
- Experience with NEPA documentation and environmental reviews
- Strong analytical skills and data interpretation abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
