Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive detection systems
- Conduct physical and electronic screening of passengers and carry-on items
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes
- Enforce TSA security regulations and procedures
- Identify and report suspicious items or activities
- Maintain security checkpoint efficiency and professionalism
- Provide excellent customer service during screening processes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to obtain and maintain TSA certification
