Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and scanning equipment to screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo
- Conduct thorough physical searches of persons and property as required
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify potential threats or suspicious behavior
- Enforce TSA security regulations and procedures with professionalism and discretion
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergency situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Must be at least 18 years old and proficient in English
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
