Responsibilities
- Perform advanced screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and property using X-ray screening equipment.
- Identify prohibited items, weapons, and other threats to aviation security.
- Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to travelers regarding screening procedures.
- Adhere to strict TSA security protocols and federal regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and secure screening environment.
- Complete necessary training and certification requirements within designated timeframes.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory federal background check and drug screening.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- No felony convictions (specifically relating to drug trafficking or terrorism).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
