Applicants must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure the airport operates safely 24/7.
Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage utilizing advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment to identify threats.
- Identify and intercept prohibited items to ensure safety and security protocols are met.
- Apply federal security regulations and procedures consistently and correctly under supervision.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and react quickly to security threats or emergencies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while conducting screenings professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient flow of passengers through screening lanes.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (per federal regulations).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
