Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Conduct thorough pat-downs and physical searches of individuals and their property when required.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve security threats in a calm and efficient manner.
- Assist travelers with special needs and ensure a positive customer service experience.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and security alerts.
- Maintain strict adherence to TSA regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to successfully pass a background investigation, including a criminal history check, drug screening, and medical fitness for duty assessment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good vision and ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
