Responsibilities
- Screening Operations: Operate X-ray machines, walk-through metal detectors, and advanced imaging technology to identify prohibited items.
- Pat-downs: Conduct thorough pat-downs and searches when necessary to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Customer Service: Assist travelers with luggage, answer questions, and resolve issues professionally to ensure a smooth passenger experience.
- Compliance: Adhere to strict TSA regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Physical Fitness: Maintain the physical stamina required for long periods of standing, walking, and repetitive motions.
- Alertness: Monitor screening equipment and passenger behavior for potential security threats.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Communication: Must be able to speak and understand English clearly.
- Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a thorough background investigation, including fingerprinting and criminal history checks.
- Medical Exam: Must pass a medical and psychological examination.
- Schedule: Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Drug Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
