Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items to ensure aviation security.
- Operate advanced X-ray imaging equipment and walk-through metal detectors accurately.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the traveling public to ensure a positive travel experience.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and TSA directives at all times.
- Conduct additional screening procedures when anomalies are detected on imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of federal law enforcement and security professionals.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and effectively.
- Pass a background check, drug screen, and medical exam.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
