Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screening using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and manual pat-down techniques
- Monitor security checkpoints to detect prohibited items and ensure compliance with TSA regulations
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor during security interactions
- Operate and maintain advanced screening equipment with precision and efficiency
- Document security incidents and screening activities accurately in TSA reporting systems

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Security Screening Badge (requires background check)
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse populations
- Basic computer literacy for operating screening equipment and reporting systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and medical evaluation
