Responsibilities
- Conduct screening of passengers and property at airport checkpoints to identify potential threats.
- Operate X-ray machines and other advanced security screening equipment.
- Identify and resolve prohibited items and security risks quickly and accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining screening procedures to travelers.
- Adhere to all TSA security protocols, regulations, and policies.
- Perform physical screening procedures, including pat-downs and bag checks.
- Document all screening activities and observations accurately.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a criminal history background check, drug screen, and medical exam.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
