Responsibilities
- Perform passenger screening, baggage screening, and cargo screening using advanced X-ray technology and imaging equipment.
- Conduct thorough pat-downs and physical searches to identify prohibited items and potential threats.
- Monitor security checkpoints and enforce strict security regulations and protocols.
- Identify and report security anomalies or breaches to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide clear, courteous communication to travelers of all backgrounds.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient checkpoint operations during peak travel times.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a thorough background check, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex procedures accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
