Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray screening equipment and walk-through metal detectors to identify prohibited items.
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and physical screenings of passengers and carry-on baggage.
- Enforce TSA security regulations and security directives in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor and control access points to the sterile area of the terminal.
- Document any irregularities or suspicious behavior immediately to supervisors.
- Assist travelers with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to undergo a thorough background investigation, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a medical examination, including hearing and vision tests.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
