Responsibilities
- Screening Operations: Conduct passenger screening using walk-through metal detectors and advanced imaging technology to detect prohibited items.
- Baggage Inspection: Operate X-ray screening equipment to inspect carry-on and checked baggage for security threats and explosives.
- Security Protocols: Adhere to strict TSA security regulations and procedures to maintain a safe environment for travelers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Emergency Response: Respond appropriately to security breaches, emergencies, and crowd control situations.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or lawfully authorized to work in the United States.
- Background Check: Successfully pass a background investigation, including a criminal history records check and fingerprinting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to pass a medical examination.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Availability: Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
