Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and property using advanced imaging technology and X-ray systems.
- Identify and resolve potential security threats, weapons, and prohibited items.
- Assist travelers with questions regarding screening procedures and baggage policies.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness during peak travel periods.
- Document all screening activities and incidents accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient checkpoint operations.
- Adhere to all TSA security directives and agency policies.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a medical examination and drug screening.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and fingerprinting process.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
