Responsibilities
- Perform security screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced X-ray technology and physical pat-downs.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public while maintaining a high standard of customer service and de-escalation techniques.
- Identify and mitigate security threats or prohibited items in strict accordance with TSA regulations and protocols.
- Monitor security checkpoints and maintain a safe, secure environment for all travelers and airport personnel.
- Operate and troubleshoot security screening equipment, including CT machines and metal detectors.
- Document all screening activities and report suspicious behavior or security breaches immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, lift, bend, and perform pat-downs.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and varying hours as needed.
