Responsibilities
- Operate Screening Equipment: Efficiently operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and advanced imaging technology to screen passengers and baggage.
- Security Enforcement: Enforce security regulations and procedures strictly while maintaining a customer-service oriented approach.
- Prohibited Item Detection: Identify and separate prohibited items from carry-on luggage and personal belongings.
- Customer Assistance: Assist travelers with inquiries, provide directions, and ensure a smooth security checkpoint flow.
- Incident Reporting: Monitor security footage and report suspicious activities or breaches immediately to supervisors.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of law enforcement and security professionals.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check, including a criminal history and fingerprint check.
- Medical Clearance: Must pass a medical examination to ensure physical fitness for duty.
- Education: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Availability: Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
