Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections following TSA protocols
- Operate advanced security technology and document screening procedures
- Monitor security checkpoints and report suspicious activities to supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service to diverse travelers
- Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn security systems
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual a plus)
- No criminal record or felony convictions
- Availability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
