Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and walk-through metal detectors.
- Identify prohibited items and communicate effectively with passengers to resolve security concerns.
- Operate X-ray machines and other screening equipment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Enforce TSA security regulations and protocols in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient passenger flow and operational excellence.
- Remain alert and ready to respond to security threats or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for written reports and communication.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
